UKS2 – Team Captain Candidate Presentations and Black History Month

It’s been a great (and busy) day in UKS2!

Today, our team captain candidates gave their speeches to convince UKS2 why we should vote for them. Each and every one of them should be proud of the presentations that they delivered. Each candidate explained why they would make a good team captain and how they would motivate their team with confidence and clarity. Well done to each candidate for being brave and delivering their presentations!

Also in UKS2, we have been celebrating Black History Month. The children have learnt what Black History Month is and why it is important that we start and continue the conversation of equality and fairness in our world and history. The children answered questions from a text to further explore what Black History Month is and to learn about famous Black men and women through time.
