KS1-Class One-Cannon Hall

Class One had a wonderful day at Cannon Hall farm where we explored and learnt so much!

We had a guided tour in which we visited all the farrowing barns. We were surprised at how tiny the piglets were- some were only 2 weeks old!. We saw many animals including donkeys, alpacas, and cows. Even saw a baby highland cow called Aurora! Then we went for a tractor drive around the field with a range of animals. The farmer was impressed with how much we knew.

 After that, we visited the reptile house and were amazed by the snakes, turtles, and iguanas. We also visited the round house and the mammal house where we used our observational skills to identify the different animals. Throughout the day, we had plenty of time to play in the huge playground where there was a massive slide! We hope you enjoy some pictures of our wonderful day!

We were very proud of how the children behaved and represented Cookridge.
