Sing and Swing Event / Ralph Thoresby Music Festival

Dear Parents and Carers, 

I am very pleased to invite your child to a free ‘Sing and Swing’ event at Adel Primary School on the morning of Friday 12th July. They will have the opportunity to join with other schools and sing through a number of jazz songs that we have been working on, this time with a live band!

There is no cost to take part. The children will be transported by a coach that we are sharing with Holy Trinity Primary School. We will return to school in time for lunch.

Whilst this in an exciting event in itself, it will lead on to a second performance as part of the Ralph Thoresby Music Festival the following day (Saturday 13th July 11:00-12:00). Here, in addition to the choir, certain children will also be performing on recorder as part of a large ensemble. For the festival, we will meet at 11:00 in the theatre space. Parents and carers must remain as the responsibility for your child is with you. If your child is unable to make the Saturday performance, they are still invited to the Friday ‘Sing and Swing’ event.
