Summer Reading Challenge
Please find information about this year’s Summer Reading Challenge – Marvellous Makers. The challenge is a national scheme run by libraries in conjunction with The Reading Agency that encourages children to keep up the reading habit during the summer holidays. Children can join for free at Holt Park Library and will be challenged to read six books before mid-September. They will be rewarded with collectable stickers as well as a medal and certificate for completing the challenge. You can find more information and a promotional video which might be useful here.
A brilliant 41 children from Cookridge Primary took part in the challenge last year and it would be wonderful to increase that this time around. Below are several information sheets for families detailing how children can take part as well as some information about events happening over summer. Good luck!
