UKS2 – English – Roleplay

Today, the children developed their own TV advert to persuade people to live near a volcano.

They developed a script in their groups. They included: the reasons why to live near a volcano from their own research, a catchy and exciting story or slogan, and enthusiastic and emotive language.

Finally, they performed their persuasive pieces to the class. Their performances were enthusiastic and believable. Finally, we evaluated the persuasiveness of each group’s performances.
