Reception – Websites for home

Accounts have now been set up for the Reception children for some of the websites we use in school to aid children’s learning. Children will be coming home this week with their log-in details in case they wish to use these websites at home. This is NOT COMPULSORY and there is no pressure to do this at home however, we use the websites in school and in previous years children have asked to carry on with the games at home so we wanted to get the logins out just in case it was helpful. 

The three websites are:

Numbots (www.numbots.com)

This website focuses on improving children’s number fluency through lots of games where they can earn coin to spend personalising their own robot. Numbots can also be accessed through an app.

Twinkl (www.twinkl.com/learn)

Here children can access games, resources and eBooks all based around the phonics we are currently learning about in school. 

PurpleMash (www.purplemash.com)

This is a safe space for children to explore and use a range of creative tools, educational games and themed resources online.
