UKS2 – French

Yesterday in French, the children learnt new vocabulary relating to fashion.

They engaged with authentic texts by exploring Vogue France fashion articles. The children did a super job at identifying different the new vocabulary they had learnt as well as using bilingual dictionaries to define new words.

Finally, the children wrote sentences to describe children’s clothing around the room. This included ensuring that the nouns and adjectives agreed based on French gendered grammar rules.
