LKS2 – Class 4 and 7 – Reading

This week in LKS2 Reading lessons we used our retrieval skills to identify if statements about the text were true or false. In pairs, we began by dividing a piece of paper in two to sort the statements into. We then identified the key word in each statement and used this to skim and scan for the information within the text. We then discussed the information we had retrieved with our partner to identify whether if the statement was ‘true’ of ‘false’.
