EYFS – Newsletter – 11/10/19

What a week we have had in Reception!

In phonics we have been investigating the sounds ‘a’ and ‘t’. We have looked at different words that start with each letter as well as playing games to see how quickly we can recognise them! Can you find any ‘a’ or ‘t’ words at home? In maths we have continued our work on counting and exploring different ways to represent numbers from one to ten.

Elsewhere in the classroom we have had fun making and having a go at different obstacle courses, gone on a hunt around the school grounds for interesting leaves to use to make different nature pictures and experimented with using different tools to start to deconstructing some old laptops!
