UKS2 – Tools – Forest School
Pupils in UKS2 finished their sessions on tools today by completing the items they had been working on in their previous session. They found it tricky as there were lots of fiddly jobs left to do, such as weaving, threading, whittling details and sawing and cutting accurately for effect. Drawing on all their levels of resilience, problem solving and teamwork, pupils were able to overcome these challenges and were delighted with the finished product. To round off our session, we reviewed and reflected on the process which we began a month ago and celebrated successes and achievements as well as areas of challenge and how we faced them. There were a wide range of items made from bracelets and necklaces to hanging decorations and animals which the children were all invited to take home- well done UKS2!
