LKS2 – Class 5 & 7 – English

Today in English, we started our new writing genre, ‘Historical Narrative.’ To begin the topic, we looked at a good example of a historical narrative from the book we have been reading in English about Julius Caesar. We used the example to create a checklist of different features we thought were included that make it good. After share this with the class, we then looked at another example. We compared the best parts of both pieces of writing and shared our thoughts with each other. Then, we had a go at writing the first paragraph of our own historical narrative inspired by Julius Caesar’s invasion on Britain.
