Artsmark – Challenge of Champions competition
As covered in assembly today, we are launching the art Challenge of Champions!
Each half term we will be focussing on one artist and recreate their style of art in our own unique way. Each art submission will be showcased within the school for everyone to view and enjoy. A panel of judges will select the winner of each half term and they will win, the incredible prize, of 50 team points!
Within the year, the winners of each project will be entered into the Champion of Champions and the winner of this will be decided at the Summer Fair.
The artist of this half term is Curtis Holder and his Silent Echoes, Spoken Truths portraits.

Holder wants his art to ‘foster confidence’ and for his portraits to convey ‘more than the likeness of someone’. We are looking for portraits that bring voices to life and share people’s personalities and stories.

You can create your portrait in whichever means you choose- be creative! Will you use different shapes, colours, materials or textures?
All submissions must be A4 size and must be a portrait of a person (either someone in school, a family member, friend or someone you find inspirational).
Please bring your art work to the art room before the end of term (14th February).
We cannot wait to see all of your wonderful creations. Good luck everyone!
