EYFS – Newsletter – 25/10/19

What an action packed week in Reception!

In Phonics this week, we have been looking at the sounds: n, m, d and g. We have been using our scissor skills to cut out and sort pictures into those that start with these sounds and those that don’t.

In Maths, we have been investigating the numbers 4 and 5. We have found lots of different ways to represent them using cubes, counters, toys and even children!

The highlight of our week this week has been our den building afternoon! Thank you so much to everyone that came along! We were very impressed with the dens and the children had a brilliant time sharing our reception playground with you all.
