The Great Science Share 2020

The Great Science Share is an annual campaign, due to take place on Tuesday 16th June, aimed to inspire children to share their scientific questions with new audiences. It is about children communicating something that they have been investigating which starts with a question that they are interested in.

You may remember we celebrated this event last year by having a science fair in the hall with each class sharing their favourite experiment or investigation from the year.

This year The Great Science Share has moved online! There will be science content streamed live throughout the day, a Great Science Groove-along and a chance to share your favourite experiments and investigations so get the date in your diaries!

At the start of each week leading up to the event activities based on a weekly theme will be released to inspire children and families to think about, talk about and share scientific ideas.

International Dawn Chorus Day

International Dawn Chorus Day is held annually on the first Sunday in May, when people are encouraged to get up early to listen to bird song. Be inspired to take time to listen wildlife sounds around you throughout the week.

There are lots of different interesting activities and ideas related to this topic for you to have a go at.
