UKS2 – Newsletter – 18.09.2020

Wow! What an incredible week we have had in UKS2! 

In English, pupils continued to develop their knowledge and understanding of Victorian workhouses through role play and research. Additionally, children read chapters 2 and 3 of ‘Street Child’ in order to help them with the planning and preparation needed for their diary entries! 

During the Forest School sessions this week, Classes 8, 9 and 10 continued to explore the Victorians. Pupils created their own Victorian games, a piece of art based on workhouse conditions and developed their own Victorian songs (as well as enjoying the wonderful weather)!

Next week will be the start of week 2 – this means that pupils will need to come to school on Monday 21st dressed in their correct coloured P.E kit ready for action!
