UKS2 – Newsletter – 13.11.2020

It has been an enjoyable and exciting week in UKS2.

On Tuesday, Year 6 pupils developed their addition and subtraction knowledge using different pieces of measuring equipment. Some pupils also used role-play to work on some very difficult fraction questions!

Also, this week in English, UKS2 have been continuing with their letter from Mary Seacole. Focusing on their respective grammar goals, Year 5 and Year 6 have composed some dynamic, emotive and historically accurate pieces of writing. Here are some action shots of the children hard at work!

Finally, we have had some excellent hard work and exemplary behaviour in UKS2 this week. In celebration of this, our learnatics are:  Darcy and Jay  (Class 8), Zanst and Jasper (Class 9) Isabel and Zainab (Class 10).

All of the children displayed exemplary behaviour, a positive attitude and going above and beyond for their class community.

Well done all of you, keep up the hardwork.

Ooh Ahh… you’re a star!!
