UKS2 – Newsletter – 5.12.2020
It has been a busy week in UKS2. On Monday in cross curricular, UKS2 embarked on an entrepreneurial journey into the ‘Dragons’ Den’. After receiving their Victorian invention, the pupils were tasked with researching, designing a campaign and pitching their invention to the Cookridge Dragons. The children worked collegially, using many creative and academic skills to generate the best pitch possible. Well done everyone!
Also this week in cross curricular, Class 8 have been using Kahoot to recap their previous history and geography knowledge. Revisiting topics from all the way back in KS1, the pupils have enjoyed the competitive and entertaining quizzes on Kahoot, as well as the quirky music!
Finally, our UKS2 learnatics for this week are: Ameen and Elsie (Class 8), George and Jack (Class 9) and Lamya and Raahil (Class 10)
All of the children displayed exemplary behaviour, a positive attitude and going above and beyond for their class community.
Well done all of you, keep up the hardwork.
Ooh Ahh… you’re a star!
