Changes to pupil provision in school

I met with the senior leadership team last week to look at the schools approach to ‘bubbles’ after the increasing number of cases we had in school amongst pupils.  We made the decision to move from phase bubbles to class and year group bubbles.  The provision now looks as follows

Reception – no change – class bubble of 45

Year 1 bubble (classes 1 and 2)

Year 2 bubble (classes 3 and 4)

Class 5 – class bubble

Class 6 – class bubble

Class 7 – class bubble

Class 8 – class bubble

Class 9 – class bubble

Class 10 – class bubble

This move will have an impact on some of the provision we offer in school, however with the current rising rates and new variants of Covid we felt the health and safety of the whole school community outweighed this.

Please can we ask you to support this new structure and encourage your children not to mix outside of their bubbles before and after school.
