LKS2 Newsletter 19/1/21

Good morning everybody! We hope you had a fun weekend in the snow, and are now enjoying another week of home learning.

The LKS2 team have been SO impressed with the work that is being completed at home. In such difficult times, it really does put a smile on our faces seeing the children take on the home learning with such resilience and pride in their work.

In Maths, the Year 3s have been learning about the properties of different shapes, and this week have started work on their 4 times tables. Meanwhile, the Year 4s have worked on measurement. In English, everyone has enjoyed reading about Smaug the Dragon from the book ‘The Hobbit’. The children created and described their own dragon, and we were impressed with the creativity and imagination that was demonstrated!

The children have also completed some brilliant art and geography work:
