KS1 Newsletter – 5.3.21
Happy Friday everyone! Your final day of home learning! We cannot wait to see all the children’s faces when they return on Monday.
Please make sure you have read the letter about the return to school, so that you are aware of changes and things that will need to happen for your child’s safe return. If you need to communicate with your class teacher, please continue to make use of the Key Stage 1 e mail, as we are keeping contact between adults to a minimum.
Thank you to everyone who has e mailed in and sent work to show us how your children have been getting on with their home learning. We appreciate all your support in helping them with their learning; we know that this has often not been an easy task.
It was a fun and fabulous day on Thursday, as it was World Book Day. We loved seeing all the children on Zoom, dressed as their favourite characters and talking about the books that they enjoy reading and listening to. Thank you to all those who have sent in photographs of the reading challenge, the character pictures and descriptions and the book cover pictures. They will all be entered into the competition and prizes will be handed out once they have been judged this weekend. Your child will also receive a £1 book voucher once they are back in school. This can be used in many book shops as £1 off any book of their choice, or would buy that a World Book Day book that is exactly £1.
