LKS2 – Class 5 – D and T with recycling!

Class 5 have had a wonderfully creative day today. We looked at how we can use our recycling to make new things, such as bird feeders or mini houses. To make sure we knew exactly what we needed, we designed our creations on a piece of paper, labelling the materials we would use. We had two tables full of recycled materials, including bottles, plastic tubs and cardboard boxes, and also went into the playground to collect some natural resources like twigs and leaves.  Then we got to work sticking, cutting, and creating! The results were fantastic – a bird house, a mini coffee shop, a marble run and a fairy house to name a few!
