LKS2 Newsletter – 17/5/19

What a busy week we have had in LKS2! In English we have been writing and editing our own newspaper reports all about Caesars assassination! In Maths,  Year 3 have been working on telling the time to the nearest minute on an analogue clock and the Year 4 have been using their place value knowledge to multiply and divide by 10, 100 and 100.  In Science, we have used data loggers to collect data about how loud each persons clap is and then created bar graphs using masking tape to display our findings!

During the afternoons this week we have been preparing for our Roman Market. We have practised measuring accurately to create salt dough coins and worked with Plasticine to craft Roman coil pots all to be used when set the challenge make the most money by buying and selling products at the market!

A quick reminder for all children to bring a named hat and sun cream.
