UKS2 – Potential Trips – Response Needed
After Easter, UKS2 will be studying the topic of World War II and the impact it had on life in Britain. This is always a popular topic and one we look forward to teaching. As you know, throughout school, we like to support our curriculum with educational visits which give our pupils first hand experience of what we are studying.
We are aware that with increasing energy bills, the cost of living is increasing and we know that this can put a strain on a families’ finances. In Year 5/6 we are also conscious that we have a residential in both years and, therefore, before organising any other trips this year, we would like to get a feel for whether this would be viable or not.
The trip that we would like to take your children on is to Eden Camp (a WWII museum in North Yorkshire) and the cost would be in the region of £16 (£8 for pupil premium).
To gain a view on whether you would be willing to pay for your child to go on the visit and which half term would be best, could you please fill out the following form to inform us .
All responses will be kept confidential and will be used purely to inform our decision on whether the trip is a viable option for our pupils.
Thank you,
Mr Kershaw
