Netball Finals Invitation

Dear Parent/Guardian,

Your child has been chosen to represent Cookridge Primary School in the Leeds Schools Netball Association League Finals.

The finals will take place on Monday 13th June at Cookridge Primary School from 3.15pm – 5.15pm. 

Parents are welcome to come and support the team. 

Please ensure your child comes to school in their PE kit, trainers, with hair tied back, no jewellery and a drink. Official umpires are in charge of the games and will be quite strict. 

Eight schools will be in attendance. There will be two pools of four teams and then the top two schools will progress to the grand final match.  

If you have any time to practice receiving a ball on the run and stopping with correct footwork that would be brilliant (catch, land 1-2 or both feet at same time). Also, if you have access to a netball or basketball net put up lots of shots from different angles and distances (use the posts at break & lunch time).
