EYFS Newsletter – 15/07/2022
What a super week we have had for our final full week in Reception!
On Tuesday we had sports day and the children had a great time taking part in lots of different races including; egg and spoon, sack race, space hopper and running races. Everyone had a lot of fun and showed fantastic sportsmanship by cheering each other on!
On Tuesday afternoon we received invitations to visit the children in Classes 1 and 2. We had a super time meeting the year 1 children and exploring our new classrooms for September.
On Thursday we had our final forest schools session of the year. We climbed on the tree house, made a fire, built dens and played in the mud pits!
On Friday afternoon we had our Summer Fair. Thank you again to everyone who brought items in this week as it made the event a huge success! The money raised will be going towards a new projector for school, which will enhance learning for all pupils and will be a great addition to school.
Next week is going to be warm so please remember named sun hats, sun cream and water bottles.
All reading books need to be returned, please do so as soon as possible.
We hope you have a lovely weekend!
