Year 2 – Class 3 – Maths

In Miss Boyd’s maths group today, moved onto learning how to compare numbers using < and >. First, we discussed the language surrounding the topic, recapped our year 1 knowledge of comparing numbers, then went outside for some outdoor learning. We collected outdoor resources in groups to make out numbers (we used sticks and long items to represent out tens, and smaller items such as conkers to represent our ones). Then, we used the < and > signs to compare the two numbers.
