Wellbeing Wednesdays – Forest School

This morning pupils carried out a series of maintenance tasks in our Forest School area. Pupils chose whether to rake up leaves to add to our new composting area, trim back bushes and hedges or begin the groundwork for an upcoming project – installing a kitchen garden. Working together, pupils enjoyed the chance to complete physically demanding tasks outside in the fresh air with friends. Afterwards, we discussed how they felt. It was lovely to hear they felt a sense of achievement, wider awake and how they felt proud they’d improved the Forest School area for over 300 pupils right across school. Well done everyone.
