LKS2 – Class 7 – Children’s Mental Health Week

Today, we have had a wonderful day celebrating World Mental Health Week. The children all came in fantastic outfits that reflected them, their personalities, and passions. 

This afternoon, we talked a lot about ‘connection’, and discussed how we connect and feel connected to people and things around us. We then expressed this through drawing and writing, by creating ‘heads’, all about us and our connection to the world. This was a great way to reflect on what mental health means to us, as well as to share strategies that we use when things feel tough.
