Nurture Group – Forest School

Today in our session we worked together to make a den for snack time. Linking the task to our current topic of weather, we discussed what a den could be useful for, including staying dry from the rain and warm from the cold wind. We then gathered den building sticks from across the field and with a little help from Mr Gamble created a structure and finished it off with a tarp for a roof. Again using a tarp, we created a floor and laid a blanket for our snack time – it was great fun.
