Bland Close Farm Trip – Class 4, 6 & 7

Good morning,

Due to unforeseen circumstances, Bland Close Farm have had to cancel the planned trip for this Wednesday and Thursday (19th and 20th).

Fortunately we have been able to arrange the trip with another farm (Grasslands farm) that also operates through the country trust. The children will receive a similar provision at Grasslands farm, focusing on food chains, lifecycles and the environment. 

The cost of the trip is £5.00 (£2.50 pupil premium), this is currently available to pay via Parent Pay. This will cover the cost of the transport to and from the farm. Thank you to everyone who has already paid.

Children will be departing school at 9:15am and will return at 2:45pm for usual end of the day procedures. The children will need to bring a packed lunch, unless they are eligible for free school meals, in which case a school packed lunch will be provided. Please check with the office if you are unsure. 

The children will need to wear suitable Forest School clothing (this does not include football kits) and footwear appropriate for walking. Children will also need to bring waterproof coats to account for the possibility of rain.
