Competition-Get Set to Fresh!
Dear Parents/Carers,
Get Set to Eat Fresh’s Design a Lorry Competition!
About Get Set to Eat Fresh
Get Set to Eat Fresh, brought to life through Aldi, Team GB and ParalympicsGB, is a free nationwide education programme to help all young people aged 5–14 develop their love and curiosity about healthy, sustainable food and the knowledge and skills they need to cook nutritious, low-cost meals. Design a Lorry CompetitionThe Get Set to Eat Fresh Design a Lorry Competition challenges young people aged 5–14 to get creative and design an Aldi lorry that inspires people to enjoy healthy, sustainable food.
The winning design will be selected by a judging panel from Aldi, Team GB and ParalympicsGB. The judges will be on the lookout for an inventive, exciting and eye-catching design that celebrates healthy food and will inspire others to eat more sustainably. Please encourage your child to get creative!
By taking part in the competition, your child will have the chance to see their designs come to life – with the three winning designs each used on their own Aldi lorry, ready to deliver produce to Aldi stores around the country. The winning student will also receive an exclusive Team GB and ParalympicsGB goody bag, plus a £100 Aldi voucher, and Cookridge Primary School will win a £1,000 prize, too.
If your child would like to enter the competition, please can they complete their final design on the Design a Lorry Competition entry template attached below. Please ensure their personal details are filled in and they’ve created a design for both the side and back of the lorry (the side design will appear on both sides).
Please see Mrs Koopman if you need a printed template and coversheet.
Closing date 23rd June
