LKS2 – Class 6 – English

This week, the LKS2 children have been learning about Haiku poems. They have read some good examples and discussed the features of Haiku poems, focussing particularly on the number of syllables in each line. Today, the children wrote their own Haiku inspired by the environment and climate change. They used white boards to draft their ideas, making sure to clap and count the syllables carefully. Their final pieces conveyed some powerful messages about saving the planet!
