Classes 6&7 – Forest School
This morning pupils in Class 6 and 7 were able to explore a range of activities which focused on different skill sets such as problem solving and resilience when making a fire or using a bow saw, creativity and imagination when building structures in the sandpit or using the mud kitchen and weaving and strengthening when using natural materials. Our activities this afternoon consisted of making a fire to roast marshmallows, making a three-course meal for King Charles III in the mud kitchen, building him a castle fit for a king using the sandpit, creating our very own crowns for his coronation and using bow saws to cut circular discs which we turned into coins with either King Charles III or ourselves on!
