MFL Poetry Competition
Today, three children from UKS2 attended a Modern Foreign Languages poetry competition at Ralph Thoresby. Competing against other local primary schools, the children performed a poem they had learnt in French (called ‘Les Petits Poissons dans L’eau’). It was an absolutely fantastic performances with accurate pronunication and confidence.
During the visit, the children also were given a tour of the school and observed what language lessons can be like at high school. They, also, played language games alongside the other children.
We are so proud of their linguistic efforts today – c’est super! Toutes nos felicitations!
