Reception – Forest School

We’ve had a wonderful morning at Forest School today with lots of happy children exploring the different areas and activities. For some challenges, pupils had to use their knowledge from their current topic (dinosaurs) to make a dino meal at the mud kitchen, homes in the sandpit for toy dinosaurs or create dinosaur pictures using loose parts and natural resources. Children also enjoyed exercising on the ninja slackline and reading a book in our new outdoor reading provision under the tree house on our beanbag chairs. Children also had the opportunity to visit the school animals and help Mr Gamble build and maintain a fire to cook popcorn on for a tasty snack.
