Nurture Group – Forest School
What a busy time we had in our Forest School session this morning. It began with our sensory circuits using the slackline before checking on our wheat which we planted in April. We tok some weeds out of the soil then gave it a good watering. Next, Mr Gamble taught us how to whittle sticks using peelers. We used kneeling mats and gloves correctly and stayed safe the whole time whilst taking the bark off our chosen sticks. Afterwards, we visited the animals where we have the chickens, guinea pigs and rabbits their breakfast. We all sat so still and quietly on the benches that the rabbits came up to us and ran around our feet!
