Wellbeing Wednesday – Forest School
This week, the younger pupils enjoyed a session largely based on trees. We discussed the importance of trees and the impact they have on wellbeing and out mental health. We all chose a tree each and gave it a special hug, focusing on our breathing whilst doing so. We then used loose parts from trees to create pictures and images. Afterwards, we pitched up some hammocks by connecting them to trees and enjoyed some downtime in them. The older pupils continued to work on the installation of the new strawberry by adding a mix of mulch, grass cuttings and compost together to prepare the ground for hopefully planting next week.
