LKS2 – C4/C6 Maths

This week in Miss Nodding’s Maths group we developed the skill of dividing amounts into equal groups of 3, 4 and 8. We used our sharing circles to create clear groups and used skittles to divide amounts equally. We identified whether a question involves sharing or grouping and used the concrete manipulatives to support us. We checked our answers using inverse operations and applied our times tables knowledge. We then challenged ourselves to use pictorial representations and write our own division stories
