EYFS – Chinese New Year
Earlier this week, we celebrated Chinese New Year. We started the day by baking lots of green buns to share with the rest of the school.
In the classroom we also made our own Chinese dragons, used chopsticks to move noodles and cut out shapes to finish a Chinese picture.
In the afternoon, we joined in the whole school assembly to share our learning and some of us even enjoyed performing the dragon dance we have been practising in our music lessons. We also practised using chopsticks to tidy up a box of cubes, and then have a super time tasting all of the different foods (dumplings, spring rolls and noodles on top of our green buns!) that each class had made to share.
