What a day! We started off World Book Day with an assembly where us pupils won the book quiz against the teachers! After this, we showed off our costumes during a fashion show with the rest of KS1.
Our topic this term is Africa so our teachers chose to dress up as characters from ‘Handa’s Surprise’ and we had a fun day full of activities all to do with this book. We did some fruit painting. colouring, made finger puppets and we retold the story! In the afternoon, we watched KS2 perform Julia Donaldson books but with their very own twist!
We finished off the day with a Mystery Reader! Thank you to Oscar’s mum for reading to us and answering all of our questions.
