EYFS – Foods of the World Celebration
As part of our Location, Location, Location topic this term, we have spent the day learning about different foods around the world. The children have had a brilliant time prepping a selection of different international dishes. They listened to the instructions carefully and made the staff in Reception extremely proud with their listening and safe use of equipment.
The four dishes we prepared and cooked were:
- Tzatziki and pitta bread – a dish from Greece
- Quesadillas and guacamole – a dish from Mexico
- Falafel fritters- a dish from Egypt
- Tropical fruit salad with a basil and lime dressing – a dish from Thailand
