EYFS Newsletter – 06/05/2022

Sun, rain or cloud, it hasn’t stopped reception this week. 

In phonics we have continued to recap the phase 3 phonemes (ch, sh, th, ng this week) and worked on what makes a good sentence. We have being writing lots in our purple books, in our best hand writing. 

In maths we have looked at the patterns within the numbers past 10 and focused on the formation of our numerals. 

As part of our dinosaur topic we voted on names for our dinosaurs. We also had a competition on who could write a clear and neat sentence about what our dinosaurs will eat. Everyone had the opportunity to do this, if they wanted to.
