EYFS Newsletter – 16/09/2022

What a super week we have had in Reception! The children have done really well getting used to full days in school, particularly enjoying the introduction of green time at the end of each day! Green time is a reward time for everyone who has followed the school rules all day. The children have loved the chance to draw, dance or play games outside to celebrate staying green all day. During the week we have had a go at lots of activities to learn each others names and get to know our class mates. The DT area has been very popular along with the indoor construction, for making houses, and the dressing up costumes, for retelling different stories.

On Thursday we have our first forest school session. The children had a brilliant time exploring the different areas and activities in the garden including; playing in the sand pit, swinging on the different swings, meeting the guinea pigs, and climbing on the tree house.

Next week is week 2 and so we will have PE on Tuesday.
