EYFS – Newsletter – 27.11.20
Welcome to this week’s newsletter and it is a slightly different one this week and the first newsletter we have had to do whilst in isolation. Firstly, thank you to all of the parents who have participated in our zoom chats and our online work. It really means a lot to us to see the children so engaged with education at home and it makes the hard work so much more rewarding. So thank you all for being so supportive.
We’ve seen some fantastic learning going on at home. The children have challenged themselves with a greater level of independence, resilience and problem solving skills in order to ensure that they can complete their tasks. Our house hunts have been a huge success with children finding numerous household objects relating to the week’s learning. The children also enjoyed our Green Time dancing and story today and it’s lovely to see the parents getting involved too!
Next week will be more of the same. The ‘week 2 home learning’ page will go live today containing fresh videos and resources for the children to complete. If you have any questions please send us an email using the reception email address used to send out the Zoom link earlier this week.
Just a reminder that the children will be due back into school on Friday next week (4th)
