Forest School – New Paths
Today, we were very fortunate to welcome some volunteers from law firm DWF to help us install a new path in our Forest School area. In winter, it’s a bog and in summer a hard and dusty surface with no value to wildlife. Over the years, this has become wider and wider so to reduce our environmental impact on the natural flora in the school garden, a 39m path has been installed which involved laying 78 metres of timber edging and shifting 11 tonnes of bark chipping. Well done everyone and, once again, a HUGE thank you to DWF and their employees for helping us achieve it!
