Important information regarding the school App
Dear Parent/Carers
We wanted to update you on recent developments with the school app, specifically the notifications element of it.
It has been brought to our attention that some users were experiencing issues with notifications and after thoroughly investigating we found a problem with how Apple handles notifications.
We are happy to inform you that the update is now complete and live on both the App Store and Google Play. The update fixes the issue with Apple not re-sending notifications when a device is offline. It also fixes issues people may have been temporarily experiencing with links to documents not opening from within the app.
Please can you ensure you update your Smart School Parent App. You will need to ensure you have the following versions installed to ensure you continue to receive notifications from school – Apple 3.2.0.0 and Android is 707
