KS1 Chevin trip

Dear Parent/Carer,

As part of our topic work in History, the children in Years 1 and 2 will be visiting Chevin Country Park.

Please see below the dates that pupils are going:

Class 1 –Thursday 18^th Nov-am        Class 2- Thursday 18^th Nov-pm                       

Class 3 –Thursday 25th^th Nov-am    Class 4- Thursday 25th^th November-pm

The activities will link to our Castles topic, we will build dens in teams promoting teamwork also enjoy Forest School games in the Chevin to build up resilience and problem solving.

Due to the nature of these activities, children can come to school in their own clothing on the day. The children will be outside so they must be in comfortable, warm and water proof clothing. The clothing may get dirty so please do not send children in precious/new clothing. Wellies, walking boots or a sturdy pair of trainers are also recommended. Children will be in school for lunchtime, so no pack up required.

We will be travelling the in school mini bus so there will be no cost for this trip.
