KS1 – Christmas Newsletter – 20.12.24
It has been a fun and fabulous Christmas week in Key Stage One!
It all began with our Grandparent event on Monday and it was lovely to have so many people there to support the children once again. Their final performance of ‘Hooray in a Manger’ was complete and they all loved performing it. They also got the opportunity to watch LKS2’s play which was also fantastic.
We finished off our topics for the half term. In Science we used ‘Now Press Play’ to learn more about healthy living. In the story, the children travelled inside a body to see the affects of things like fizzy drinks on the body.
The rest of our week has been filled with lots of lovely Christmas activities. We have completed some Christmas Maths, we have made Christmas cards and other Christmas crafts.
We all enjoyed our Christmas party on Thursday afternoon. Thank you for sending in party snacks! It was fun to play games, have a dance and enjoy celebrating together.
Christmas dinner was enjoyed for our final day in school, with crackers and Christmas songs to make sure we all felt full of cheer!
Today, we also say goodbye to the student teachers who have been with us this term. Miss HB, Miss Bishop, Miss Shareen and Miss Straker have all worked really hard and we wish them all well for their next placement.
It has been a fantastic term in Key Stage One. Thank you to you all for your continued support towards us and your children. Have a great break and we look forward to hearing all about it in the new year.
