KS1 – Class Two – A Special Visitor

As our autumn topic is ‘Nurturing Nurses’, yesterday we were visited by a very special relative – Mrs Pottage. She explained what it’s like to be a nurse in a hospital today. She talked about how cleanliness is still very important and she needs to wash her hand lots of times just like Florence Nightingale. She bought in bandages for us to practise dressing wounds, along with syringes, torches, stethoscopes and much more which meant we could all pretend to be nurses too! We LOVED welcoming her into our classroom and send her a big thank you for doing an amazing job and helping us learn!
