KS1 Newsletter

KS1 have had another busy week.  All the classes have continued to enjoy the magic of ‘The Enchanted Wood.’   They have been exploring the language in the story and using it to create their own version, focusing on settings. We have been searching the school grounds for our own portals that could take us to a magical world.

In Maths, Year One have continued to look at reasoning problems and challenges linked to time as well as revising the four operations. Year 2 have been learning about the properties of 2D and 3D shapes. We have been discovering which objects in the classroom are which shape.

In Science, we have continued to look at plants. We have been investigation the difference between evergreen and deciduous trees alongside looking at the structure of a flowering plant.
